Catherine Beaumont (Neagle), a service entertainer during WWII, suffers a concussion during an air raid and dreams about which of her two lovers she should marry. These musings soon turn to fantasies with Catherine imagining herself to be Nell Gwynn and Queen Victoria (both roles Neagle played in previous films) as well as her own mother.
